Description

A creamy, cheesy, and slightly tangy dish that transforms chicken into a tender and flavorful meal, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese (or pecorino)
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (or fresh tomatoes)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (or oregano and basil)
  • 1 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese, parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and chicken broth until smooth.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Secure the lid and set the crockpot on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the pot and mix with the sauce.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra creaminess, add a splash of chicken broth halfway through cooking. Consider adding a touch of lemon juice before serving to brighten the flavors.
