  • 2 cup (480 ml) s panko breadcrumbs


Instructions

  1. Slice the shrimp along the outer curves to open them up.
  2. Insert approximately 1 teaspoon of softened cream cheese into each shrimp.
  3. Halve the bacon strips lengthwise and wrap a piece around each shrimp, securing it with a toothpick.
  4. Arrange the flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs in three separate shallow dishes.
  5. Dredge the shrimp in flour, immerse in the eggs, and then cover with breadcrumbs.
  6. In a deep fryer or electric skillet, warm oil to 375°F.
