Description

A delightful crispy rice cake topped with flavorful salmon and creamy avocado, combining crispiness and spice in every bite.


Ingredients

  • Sushi rice
  • Avocado
  • Salmon
  • Jalapeño
  • Sriracha
  • Sesame seeds
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
  2. Form the sushi rice into small cakes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and pan-fry the rice cakes until crispy on both sides.
  4. Mash the avocado and spread it over the crispy rice cakes.
  5. Top each with a slice of spicy salmon.
  6. Add a thin slice of jalapeño on top.
  7. Drizzle with sriracha and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, lightly coat the formed rice cakes in flour or breadcrumbs before frying. Store leftover rice cakes separate from toppings.
