Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs White Fish Fillets (cod, haddock, or tilapia)
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, finely grated
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Italian)
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper (or to taste)
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- Optional: 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Pat the white fish fillets dry with paper towels.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets.
- Coat each fillet with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Place the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Optional: Sprinkle with red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the crust is golden.
