Description

Crispy Parmesan Crusted Fish features flaky white fish fillets coated in a golden, crispy Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture, paired with a hint of citrus for a delightful seafood dish.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs White Fish Fillets (cod, haddock, or tilapia)
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, finely grated
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Italian)
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper (or to taste)
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pat the white fish fillets dry with paper towels.
  4. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets.
  5. Coat each fillet with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  6. Place the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Optional: Sprinkle with red pepper flakes for extra heat.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the crust is golden.

Notes

For best results, ingredients should be at room temperature before cooking. Serve immediately for optimal crunch.
