Description
Delightful crispy lobster bites paired with a savory garlic butter sauce, perfect for special occasions or a cozy dinner at home.
Ingredients
- 1 pound lobster meat (fresh or frozen, thawed)
- 1 cup cornstarch (or all-purpose flour)
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
Instructions
- Start by cutting the lobster meat into bite-sized pieces.
- Season the pieces with salt and pepper, ensuring they are flavorful throughout.
- Set up a dredging station: place the cornstarch (or flour) in one bowl and the beaten eggs in another.
- Dip each lobster piece into the cornstarch, coating it well. Shake off any excess, then dip it into the beaten eggs.
- Heat the butter in a pan over medium-high heat until it starts to shimmer.
- Carefully place the coated lobster pieces into the hot butter. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3–4 minutes on each side.
- Once cooked, transfer the crispy bites to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess butter.
- When ready to serve, add minced garlic to the pan, letting it sizzle for a minute. Drizzle the garlicky butter over the crispy lobster bites.
Notes
For added crunch, double-dip the lobster pieces. Monitor oil temperature to ensure crispiness.
