Delightful shrimp rolls that blend creamy textures with crispy exteriors, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp fresh dill (chopped, or 1 tsp dried dill)
- 8 pieces spring roll wrappers
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine shrimp, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until well combined.
- Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface and place a spoonful of the shrimp mixture in the center.
- Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll tightly from bottom to top, sealing the edge with water.
- Repeat the process with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat; carefully add rolls in batches and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the rolls and drain on paper towels. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra heat, add cayenne pepper to the filling. You can freeze uncooked rolls and fry them directly from frozen.
