Delicious crispy salmon bites with a zesty bang bang sauce, perfect for gatherings or a weeknight treat.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1-2 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix the mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, salt, and pepper to create the bang bang sauce. Set aside.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each salmon piece first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in panko breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the coated salmon bites in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the salmon bites and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with the bang bang sauce on the side.
Notes
For extra crispy bites, chill coated salmon in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before frying.
