Description

Delicious crispy salmon bites with a zesty bang bang sauce, perfect for gatherings or a weeknight treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix the mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, salt, and pepper to create the bang bang sauce. Set aside.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dip each salmon piece first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in panko breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the coated salmon bites in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the salmon bites and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with the bang bang sauce on the side.

Notes

For extra crispy bites, chill coated salmon in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before frying.
