Description

This creamy spinach salmon pasta combines rich cream, fresh spinach, and tender salmon for a comforting and indulgent meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and flake into pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer; then stir in the fresh spinach until wilted.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta and flaked salmon with the cream sauce. Toss everything together until well coated.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For added texture, consider incorporating nuts such as pine nuts or walnuts. A splash of lemon juice can brighten the flavors.
