Description

A delightful and creamy dish featuring red snapper and bold Creole spices, perfect for a weeknight meal or to impress guests.

Ingredients

  • 2 red snapper fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons Creole seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper; sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes and Creole seasoning.
  4. Add the red snapper fillets and cook until they are opaque, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Consider adding smoked paprika or cayenne pepper for extra flavor. Substitute heavy cream with coconut cream for a tropical twist.
