Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s oil
  • 4 teaspoon (20 ml) s minced garlic
  • 1 kg raw shrimp, peeled, deveined
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) white grape juice
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) chicken stock powder
  • 300 ml cream
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s finely sliced green onion tops
  • Hot cooked rice, to serve


Instructions

  1. Warm up the oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Introduce the garlic and cook it for 2 minutes, stirring continuously.
  3. Add the shrimp, toss them well, and cook for around 3 minutes until they turn pink and firm.
  4. Add the white grape juice and let it cook for 2 minutes to let it evaporate slightly.
  5. Mix in the chicken stock powder and cream, and bring the mixture to a rapid boil.
  6. Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens a bit.
  7. Mix in the green onion tops and serve the dish over hot rice in deep bowls.
