Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s oil
- 4 teaspoon (20 ml) s minced garlic
- 1 kg raw shrimp, peeled, deveined
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) white grape juice
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) chicken stock powder
- 300 ml cream
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s finely sliced green onion tops
- Hot cooked rice, to serve
Instructions
- Warm up the oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
- Introduce the garlic and cook it for 2 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Add the shrimp, toss them well, and cook for around 3 minutes until they turn pink and firm.
- Add the white grape juice and let it cook for 2 minutes to let it evaporate slightly.
- Mix in the chicken stock powder and cream, and bring the mixture to a rapid boil.
- Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens a bit.
- Mix in the green onion tops and serve the dish over hot rice in deep bowls.
