A comforting seafood dish featuring shrimp and scallops in a rich, creamy sauce served with pasta.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb scallops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and scallops to the skillet, cooking until they are opaque and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the cooked pasta with the shrimp and scallop mixture until well combined.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For an extra kick of flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes along with the garlic. You can also incorporate spinach or tomatoes for added nutrition.
