Description

A luxurious and creamy shrimp pasta dish featuring tender shrimp and fettuccine in a rich Alfredo sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Parsley, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, approximately 3-5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, bring it to a simmer, and then stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  6. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the Alfredo sauce until well coated.
  7. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

For a touch of heat, consider adding red pepper flakes. Use freshly grated Parmesan for better melting.
