Description

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce (227 g) s imitation crabmeat
  • 1 cup (240 ml) light ricotta cheese
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) grated halal-friendly cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) onion powder
  • 6 lasagna noodles, cooked, rinsed & drained
  • 1 (15 ounce (425 g)) can pasta sauce (if you can find it use the shrimp/crab sauce)


Instructions

  1. Blend together everything except for the noodles and the sauce.
  2. Ensure the mixture is well combined.
  3. Spread 1/3 cup of the mixture onto each noodle, then roll them up like a jelly roll.
  4. Arrange the rolls with the seam facing downwards in an 8-inch oven-safe dish.
  5. Drizzle the pasta sauce over the rolled noodles and bake them lightly covered for 25 minutes at 350°F.
  6. Alternatively, cover them with wax paper and microwave on high for 7 minutes.

  • Consider using a blend of mozzarella and parmesan cheeses for a richer flavor profile.
