Description

A comforting bowl of creamy salmon gnocchi, blending soft gnocchi with buttery salmon in a luscious heavy cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz gnocchi
  • 2 fillets of salmon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup spinach
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then cook in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and flake into pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the spinach and cook until wilted.
  5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until combined.
  6. Toss in the cooked gnocchi and salmon pieces, stirring gently to coat everything in the sauce.
  7. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, and add lemon zest if desired.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy your luxurious meal!

Notes

Consider using fresh herbs for added brightness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days.
