Description

A delightful pasta dish featuring shrimp in a creamy lemon garlic sauce, perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and zest, and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  7. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Add the cooked linguine and shrimp back into the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the sauce.
  9. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, use freshly squeezed lemon juice and zest. Experiment with different herbs like basil or dill, and add red pepper flakes for heat.
