Description

A delectable dish that elevates salmon with a creamy, zesty sauce, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper and place them in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and capers, and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
  7. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy with your favorite side!

Notes

Allow salmon fillets to reach room temperature before cooking for even cooking. Taste the sauce before serving to adjust seasoning.
