Ingredients
- 8 oz linguini
- 2 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the linguini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add salmon fillets, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the salmon is flaky. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest; stir and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces and add it to the sauce along with cooked linguini. Mix well to coat.
- Finish with chopped parsley, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes while sautéing garlic.
