Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine (340 g)
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (450 g)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (120 ml)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (90 g)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15 ml)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (8 g)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (14 g)


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the linguine to the boiling water and cook until al dente, according to package instructions.
  3. Drain the linguine and set aside.
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  5. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and opaque.
  6. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  7. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  8. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
