Ingredients
- 12 oz linguine (340 g)
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (450 g)

- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (120 ml)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (90 g)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15 ml)

- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (8 g)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (14 g)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the linguine to the boiling water and cook until al dente, according to package instructions.
- Drain the linguine and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and opaque.
- Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 3-4 minutes, until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the sauce, adjusting to taste.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce and shrimp.
- Stir in the chopped fresh parsley.
- Add butter to the skillet and toss until melted and incorporated.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
