Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) salmon fillets (450 grams)
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s olive oil (30 milliliters)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) unsalted butter (14 grams)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream (240 milliliters)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) grated Parmesan cheese (50 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lemon juice (15 milliliters)
  • 8 ounce (227 g) s fettuccine pasta (225 grams)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped fresh parsley (15 grams)


Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the salmon fillets to the skillet, skin side down.
  5. Cook the salmon for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  6. Remove salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  7. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  8. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  9. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  10. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  11. Add the lemon juice to the sauce and stir to combine.
  12. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
  13. Return the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the sauce.
  14. Toss the pasta to coat evenly in the creamy sauce.
  15. Flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces and add to the skillet.
  16. Gently mix the salmon into the pasta and sauce.
  17. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
