A comforting and indulgent creamy pasta dish featuring succulent shrimp, garlic, and parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For creamy texture, consider adding a splash of reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
