A luxurious blend of shrimp and fettuccine enveloped in a creamy garlic butter sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp back into the skillet, tossing everything together to combine.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.
