Description

A rich and velvety seafood bisque that showcases the natural sweetness of crab and shrimp, highlighting coastal flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  2. Stir in the shrimp and crab meat, cooking for 3–4 minutes until the shrimp is pink.
  3. Add the seafood stock and bring to a simmer.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream. Allow the bisque to simmer for 10-15 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
