Ingredients
- 1 cup crab meat
- 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cups seafood stock
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the shrimp and crab meat, cooking for 3–4 minutes until the shrimp is pink.
- Add the seafood stock and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream. Allow the bisque to simmer for 10-15 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
