Ingredients

- 12 ounce (340 g) s fettuccine pasta (340 grams)
- 2 tablespoon s olive oil (30 ml)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) butter (14 grams)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 cups heavy cream (480 ml)
- 1 cup (240 ml) grated Parmesan cheese (90 grams)
- 2 teaspoon (10 ml) s Cajun seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped green onions (25 grams)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and diced red bell pepper, cooking for another 2 minutes.
- Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Pour the heavy cream into the skillet, stirring to combine with the vegetable mixture.
- Bring the cream to a gentle simmer, then reduce heat to low.
- Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce.
- Gently fold in the crab meat and cooked shrimp.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Adjust seasoning with additional salt and black pepper, if needed.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley and green onions.
