Ingredients
- 200g spaghetti
- 100g bacon, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the diced bacon. Cook until crispy.
- Add minced garlic and frozen peas to the skillet, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs and Parmesan cheese.
- Drain the spaghetti and add it to the skillet with bacon and peas, removing from heat.
- Quickly pour the egg and cheese mixture over the pasta, stirring to create a creamy sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
Notes
Reserve a bit of pasta water to loosen the sauce if it becomes too thick. Use freshly grated Parmesan for a more robust flavor.
