Description

Discover the ultimate party snack with Crab Shrimp Queso, a delicious fusion of seafood and creamy cheeses wrapped in tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, finely chopped
  • 1/2 lb cooked crab meat, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup queso dip (mild or spicy)
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp butter or oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the finely chopped shrimp, shredded crab meat, Monterey Jack cheese, cream cheese, queso dip, chopped cilantro, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Take each tortilla and place 2–3 tablespoons of the filling inside. Roll tightly and secure with a toothpick.
  3. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the tortillas until golden and crunchy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove toothpicks before plating. Drizzle warm queso over the top and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
  5. Serve immediately while the cheese remains gooey and irresistible.

Notes

Prepare the filling in advance for better flavor melding. Experiment with different cheeses and spices to customize the dish.
