A delightful and versatile crab salad that combines creamy textures with fresh flavors, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. crab meat (imitation or regular)
- ½ cup mayo
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- ¼ cup celery, sliced
- ½ teaspoon celery salt
- ¼ teaspoon lemon zest
- ¼ teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon red onion, diced
- ½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, sliced
- ½ tablespoon fresh dill, roughly chopped
- Kosher salt & ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix to completely combine while ensuring the crab meat remains tender.
- Taste the salad and adjust seasoning with fresh dill, chives, salt, or pepper as desired.
- Serve the crab salad on a lettuce leaf, in a sandwich, or as a standalone dish.
Notes
Chill the crab salad for at least an hour before serving to allow flavors to meld. For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayo.
