Description

A delightful and versatile crab salad that combines creamy textures with fresh flavors, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crab meat (imitation or regular)
  • ½ cup mayo
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • ¼ cup celery, sliced
  • ½ teaspoon celery salt
  • ¼ teaspoon lemon zest
  • ¼ teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon red onion, diced
  • ½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, sliced
  • ½ tablespoon fresh dill, roughly chopped
  • Kosher salt & ground black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix to completely combine while ensuring the crab meat remains tender.
  2. Taste the salad and adjust seasoning with fresh dill, chives, salt, or pepper as desired.
  3. Serve the crab salad on a lettuce leaf, in a sandwich, or as a standalone dish.

Notes

Chill the crab salad for at least an hour before serving to allow flavors to meld. For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayo.
