Ingredients

  • 454g (1 lb) Alaska King Crab Legs, thawed then meat removed and roughly chopped
  • 227g (8 oz) reduced-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 120ml (1/2 cup) sour cream
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 5ml (1 tsp) sugar
  • 5ml (1 tsp) soy sauce
  • 25ml (1/4 tsp) garlic powder
  • 25ml (1/4 tsp) ground ginger
  • 30 frozen phyllo shells, 2-15 count packages. (NOT gluten free if using traditional phyllo shells)

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions, sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ground ginger, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Gently incorporate the chopped crab meat into the mixture.
  4. Fill each phyllo shell with about 2 teaspoons of the crab mixture.
  5. Place the filled shells in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges of the shells turn golden brown.

Notes

  • Thaw Alaska King Crab Legs completely before chopping for a smoother filling texture.
  • Soften reduced-fat cream cheese to room temperature for a creamier consistency.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt or lemon juice to enhance crab mixture flavors.
