Description

A cozy and comforting crab casserole combining imitation crab meat, creamy ingredients, and a delectable cheese topping.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb imitation crab meat, chopped or shredded
  • 3 green onions, chopped (both white and green parts)
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, mustard powder, and salt until evenly distributed.
  4. Add the chopped imitation crab, green onions, and Swiss cheese. Mix well to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly, with a golden top.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For the best results, use high-quality imitation crab meat and ensure the cream cheese is thoroughly softened to avoid lumps.
