A rich and creamy crab casserole featuring tender crab meat, pasta, and a crunchy breadcrumb topping, perfect for family gatherings or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 1 lb crab meat
- 2 cups cooked pasta
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the crab meat, cooked pasta, cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, onion, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Melt the butter and mix it with the breadcrumbs, then sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Try adding fresh herbs like parsley or dill for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
