Description

A delightful crab casserole featuring creamy ingredients and a cheesy top, perfect for family gatherings and satisfying cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb imitation crab meat, chopped or shredded
  • 3 green onions, chopped (white and green parts included)
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, mustard powder, and salt.
  4. Add the imitation crab, green onions, and Swiss cheese. Mix well to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with a golden top.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Allow cream cheese to soften at room temperature for easier blending. Use pre-chopped green onions and canned imitation crab to save time. Monitor baking time as ovens may vary.
