A warm and creamy crab casserole that’s perfect for gatherings or a comforting weeknight meal, featuring imitation crab meat and a blend of cheeses.
Ingredients
- 1 lb imitation crab meat, chopped or shredded
- 3 green onions, chopped (white and green parts included)
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth in a large bowl.
- Stir in the garlic powder, mustard powder, and salt.
- Add the imitation crab, green onions, and Swiss cheese. Mix well to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with a golden top.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavors, consider a dash of lemon juice or cayenne pepper. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
