Ingredients

  • 2 large 16 oz (454 g) filets Wild Caught Salmon
  • 1 8 oz (227 g) cup Jumbo Lump Crab
  • 1/2 lb (227 g) Shrimp
  • 4 oz (113 g) cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) lemon juice (fresh squeezed)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) green onions
  • 4 cloves garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Old Bay
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) cardamom
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Badia complete seasoning
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) adobo seasoning
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) onion powder
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) paprika (separated)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) shredded moz arella cheese
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) grated parmesan
  • To taste salt
  • To taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 350 degrees to preheat. Finely chop the garlic, parsley, and green onions. Sprinkle the shrimp with salt and pepper, then set them aside.
  2. In a skillet on medium-high heat, melt a tablespoon of butter. When melted, stir in the chopped garlic and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring to prevent burning. Add the shrimp and cook partially for about 3 minutes, until they turn brown. Take out the shrimp and keep them aside.
  3. To prepare the filling, combine cream cheese, parsley, green onions, and lemon juice in a large bowl. Stir gently to soften the cream cheese. Carefully mix in the crab meat, shrimp, mozzarella, Parmesan, and all seasonings except Old Bay. Stir until well combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. In an ovenproof dish, season the salmon filets with salt, pepper, and Old Bay. Spread the stuffing evenly over one filet from end to end. Lay the second filet on top. Save some filling for later to add during cooking. Dot the salmon with a tablespoon of butter and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Once baked, remove the salmon, add more stuffing on top, and broil for 5 minutes.
  6. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley. Serve the salmon alongside vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes, and enjoy your meal!

Notes

  • Allow cream cheese to reach room temperature for a smoother filling.
  • Constantly stir garlic with paprika to avoid bitterness from burning.
  • Season shrimp with extra paprika for enhanced flavor.
