Ingredients

- Butter, 2 tablespoon s (30 g)
- Turkey bacon, 6 slices
- Maple syrup, 1/2 cup (120 ml)
- Brown sugar, 1 tablespoon (12 g)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine crabmeat, Brie cheese, and cream cheese.
- Add green onions, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the crab mixture.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Cut a pocket into each slice of bread without cutting through to the other side.
- Stuff each bread pocket with the crab and cheese mixture.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk.
- Dip each stuffed bread slice into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Cook each stuffed bread slice in the skillet until golden brown on both sides.
- In a separate skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy.
- Remove bacon from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add maple syrup and brown sugar.
- Stir the mixture over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the cooked turkey bacon to the syrup mixture and coat well.
- Serve the crab and brie stuffed French toast with the maple bacon glaze drizzled on top.
