Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 lemon, juice and zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp, cooking until they turn pink (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. Stir in the lemon juice and zest, season with salt and pepper.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the shrimp and sauce, mixing well.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your meal!

Notes

For best results, ensure shrimp are cooked just until pink and opaque. Customize with optional vegetables or a splash of cream for a richer flavor.
