Description

Delicious and quick cilantro lime shrimp tacos paired with a creamy Greek yogurt slaw, perfect for seafood lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb wild-caught shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cups finely shredded green cabbage
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Tortillas (corn or flour)
  • Avocado slices


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, honey, and chopped cilantro to create a marinade.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine shredded cabbage with Greek yogurt, lime juice, and chopped cilantro to make the slaw.
  4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook marinated shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  5. Warm tortillas; assemble by placing shrimp on each tortilla topped with slaw and avocado slices.
  6. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges.
