  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) chili powder (2.5 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground cumin (2.5 grams)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  2. Add salt and black pepper to taste and mix well to create the marinade.
  3. Place the peeled and deveined shrimp in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
  4. Pour the marinade over the shrimp, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  7. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, if using.
  8. Place the shrimp on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until opaque and cooked through.
  9. Remove the shrimp from the grill and place on a serving platter.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro.
  11. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • Consider adding more lemon zest or juice to enhance the citrus flavor.
