Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined (450 grams)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cooked crab meat (150 grams)
  • 2 cup (480 ml) s shredded cheddar cheese (200 grams)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cream cheese, softened (225 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder (5 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder (5 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika (5 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt (5 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper (2.5 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil (15 milliliters)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) diced bell peppers (150 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lime juice (15 milliliters)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped fresh cilantro (15 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) butter, melted (15 grams)
  • 1 package wonton wrappers (about 50 wrappers)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine shrimp, crab meat, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the mixture.
  4. Stir well until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
  5. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. Add diced bell peppers to the pan and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove bell peppers from heat and stir in lime juice and chopped cilantro.
  8. Add the sautéed pepper mixture to the seafood and cheese mixture, and mix thoroughly.
  9. Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface.
  10. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling onto the center of the wrapper.
  11. Lightly brush the edges of the wrapper with water.
  12. Fold the wrapper over the filling to form a triangle, pressing edges to seal.
  13. Repeat until all filling and wrappers are used.
  14. Arrange the filled wontons on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  15. Brush the tops of the wontons with melted butter.
  16. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  17. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
