Description

Discover how to make irresistible Cheesy Beef-stuffed Manicotti Rolls with our step-by-step guide. Perfect for dinner, this recipe promises a savory delight!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (454 g) Ground Beef, cooked
  • 1 jar (24 oz (680 g)) Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1 1/2 cup (360 ml) Shredded Moz zarella Cheese divided
  • 1 cup (240 ml) Cottage Cheese
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) Chopped Parsley
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) Finely Diced Onion
  • 7 Manicotti Shells cooked al dente

Instructions

  1. Mix the prepared ground beef with your chosen spaghetti sauce. Spread half of this mixture over the base of a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine 3/4 cup of mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, Parmesan, parsley, beaten eggs, and finely chopped onion.
  3. Carefully fill each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture, then arrange them over the sauce in the baking dish.
  4. Cover the filled manicotti shells with the rest of the meat sauce, then sprinkle the remaining 3/4 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top.
  5. Bake in a 350°F oven for 35-45 minutes until the cheese is melted and the sauce is bubbling.

Notes

  • Thoroughly drain the cooked ground beef before combining with sauce to avoid excess grease
  • Use a piping bag or cut plastic bag corner for easier cheese filling into shells
  • Let baked manicotti rest 5 minutes before serving to help cheese set
