Description

A comforting seafood bake featuring shrimp, scallops, or crab, topped with cheesy Cheddar Bay biscuits.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked seafood (shrimp, scallops, crab mix as desired)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked seafood, heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Pour the seafood mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  4. Prepare the Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix according to package instructions by combining it with 1/2 cup of water.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough over the seafood mixture, leaving some gaps for the filling to peek through.
  6. Bake the dish in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and fully cooked.
  7. Brush the top with melted butter right before serving to add extra flavor.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before enjoying.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding sautéed onions or bell peppers to the seafood mixture.
