Description

A quick and delicious canned tuna rice bowl featuring sushi rice, creamy sauces, and fresh vegetables, topped with spicy mayo.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 1 can tuna
  • 2 tablespoons Kewpie mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (or extra mayonnaise for less heat)
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • Sliced avocado
  • Diced cucumbers
  • Sliced green onions
  • Roasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Drain some liquid from the canned tuna, then use your hands to squeeze out any remaining moisture.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, sriracha, lemon juice, and toasted sesame oil.
  3. In a large bowl, add the cooked sushi rice, spicy tuna mixture, cucumbers, and avocado. Mix until combined.
  4. Drizzle on extra mayonnaise and sriracha to taste. Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds on top.
  5. Enjoy!

Notes

Use sushi rice for its sticky texture which holds the ingredients together beautifully. Experiment with additional toppings like pickled ginger or seaweed salad for extra flavor.
