Ingredients
- 1 can of salmon, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (like parsley or dill)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, herbs, egg, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
- Shape the mixture into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the patties until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Allow the mixture to rest for 10-15 minutes to help bind the patties. Experiment with different herbs for unique flavors.
