Description

Canned salmon patties are a quick, delicious dish that brings the comfort of home-cooked meals to your table, perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of salmon, drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley or other fresh herbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the drained salmon, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, chopped parsley, egg, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined, ensuring all ingredients blend seamlessly.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, adjusting their size according to personal preference.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

Chill the formed patties before frying to help them hold their shape better. For a crunchier texture, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
