Description

A vibrant and refreshing grilled shrimp cocktail infused with lime, garlic, and chili. Perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup diced tomato
  • 1/2 cup diced cucumber
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Thread the shrimp onto skewers.
  4. Grill the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and cooked through.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the grilled shrimp with diced tomato, cucumber, red onion, avocado, and cilantro.
  6. Serve chilled with tortilla chips.

Notes

For added flavor, allow the shrimp to marinate for 10 minutes before grilling. Ensure skewers are soaked in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
