A delightful twist on traditional sushi, featuring crunchy cucumber sheets enveloping crab and avocado without the heaviness of rice.
Ingredients
- 1 large Cucumber
- 8 oz Crab (or imitation crab)
- 1 ripe Avocado
- Soy sauce, for serving
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the cucumber into thin slices lengthwise to form ‘sheets.’
- Place a slice of crab on one end of the cucumber sheet.
- Add a few slices of avocado on top of the crab.
- Roll the cucumber sheet tightly around the fillings.
- Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with soy sauce.
Notes
Consider chilling the cucumber in advance for a crisper bite. Experiment with different fillings for variety.
