Description

A flavorful dish of fresh shrimp cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce with iconic Cajun spices, perfect for any gathering or quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Optional lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat and add unsalted butter to melt.
  2. Once the butter is bubbling, add the minced garlic and stir frequently.
  3. Add the shrimp and sprinkle Cajun seasoning over them, stirring to coat evenly.
  4. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with optional lemon wedges.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the skillet to ensure shrimp cook evenly. For a creamier sauce, consider adding heavy cream towards the end of cooking.
