Description

Cajun shrimp deviled eggs feature a creamy filling with tender shrimp and bold Cajun flavors, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Peel the hard-boiled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
  2. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
  3. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Stir in the chopped shrimp and fresh chives.
  5. Spoon or pipe the mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Sprinkle with paprika for garnish.
  7. Serve chilled.

Notes

Chilling the assembled eggs enhances the flavor. Consider using a piping bag for a refined look.
