A delightful seafood medley combining succulent shrimp and rich salmon, enhanced with Cajun seasoning and a creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp
- 1 lb salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook the salmon skin-side down for about 5-6 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked shrimp and salmon back to the pan, coating them with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
Notes
Pat the shrimp dry before seasoning for better sear. Use freshly grated Parmesan for extra flavor.
