Description

A vibrant and flavorful Cajun seafood boil featuring shrimp, potatoes, and corn, bringing together the tastes of the coast.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, deveined
  • 2 lbs new potatoes, halved
  • 4 ears corn, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 cup Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Water

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water and salt to a rolling boil.
  2. Add the halved new potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until tender but not mushy.
  3. Add the corn and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the shrimp and cook for 3-5 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Add the Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, and lemon juice; stir gently to coat all ingredients.
  6. Drain the pot and serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Experiment with the amount of Cajun seasoning to suit your spice preference. Consider adding other seafood like crabs or mussels for a richer boil.
