Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams) cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 4 large croissants
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) (115 grams) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 grams) finely chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams) shredded lettuce
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (30 grams) mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Slice each croissant in half horizontally.
  4. Spread the butter mixture evenly on the inside of each croissant half.
  5. Place the croissants on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes, until warm and slightly crispy.
  7. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat with mayonnaise.
  8. Season the lobster mixture with salt and black pepper to taste.
  9. Remove the croissants from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  10. Layer shredded lettuce on the bottom half of each croissant.
  11. Top the lettuce with the lobster mixture.
  12. Place the other half of the croissant on top to form a sandwich.
  13. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Make sure the butter is completely softened for smooth mixing with lemon juice, garlic, and parsley. Season the lobster with salt and pepper before combining with mayonnaise for enhanced taste. Let croissants cool slightly after baking to keep them crisp and prevent wilting the lettuce.
