Description
Spicy and savory Buffalo chicken lettuce wraps offer a satisfying crunch and indulgent flavor without the heaviness of traditional wraps.
Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup Frank’s Red Hot Wing Sauce
- ½ teaspoon celery seed
- Fresh pepper to taste
- ½ cup thinly sliced celery
- Blue cheese crumbles
- Ranch dressing
- 2 heads of lettuce (romaine or iceberg, rinsed and patted dry)
Instructions
- Cook and shred your chicken in a large pan over medium/high heat with ½ cup of water until all water evaporates.
- Add the butter and olive oil, stirring until melted and combined.
- Pour in the hot sauce and add the celery seed along with fresh pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and stir in the thinly sliced celery.
- Assemble the wraps by scooping a spoonful of the chicken mixture into the lettuce leaves.
- Sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles and drizzle with ranch dressing.
- Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
For a milder wrap, reduce the amount of hot sauce. Fresh celery adds crunch and flavor.
